Walking: Main🚶♀️🚶🚶♂️
This is a very friendly group and we look forward to welcoming new members. All our walks are based around public transport.
We walk on the first Wednesday of the month. The walks are between 5 and 7 miles using a different leader each month.
A packed lunch is required along with a drink and something to sit on. Walking boots or shoes are recommended together with a waterproof coat.
A programme of the planned walks along with a brief description is on the website where you will also find joining instructions.

Title: Bramhope and the Chevin Forest Park Circular - 7 miles
Category: Easy
Leader: Chris M (07759 564515)
Start/Finish: St Giles Church, Bramhope at approx. 11.15am
An undulating walk through fields and woods with lovely views over Wharfedale.
Don’t forget a picnic and sit-mat.
Catch the No. 26 Bus from the Leeds Bus Station, Stand 20, at 10.19am; or Headingley approx. 10.34am; or Weetwood Police Station approx. 10.39am; or Golden Acre Park (where you may park your car) approx. 10.48am. The bus is scheduled to arrive in Bramhope, by St. Giles Church, approx. 10.53am.
This is slightly earlier than our normal start time, but the later bus would mean a late start and the daylight hours are now becoming shorter. If you need to get an earlier bus than the 9.30am, the cost is only £2.00.
