24th September - Pontefract Castle

A tour of the castle which is free, followed by a short tour of the town. From Romans to Kings of Northumbria and all things liquorice. We finish at Cromwells, a cafe in Mauds Yard.

We meet at 10.15am at Leeds Train station (near “Boots” shop).

Remember to buy an Off Peak rail ticket to Pontefract
